Jeffrey Harrison is the Stephen C. O'Connell Chair at the University of Florida College of Law. His current teaching and research interests relate to issues of antitrust economics, law & economics and regulated industries. Dr. Harrison has authored or co-authored 8 books and over 50 articles, comments and book reviews.

Dr. Harrison received his B.S. degree in business administration with high honors from the University of Florida in 1967, his M.B.A. from the University of Florida in 1968, his Ph.D. in economics and business administration from the University of Florida in 1970 and a J.D. with high honors from the University of North Carolina in 1978.

He is the co-author of the books "Regulation and Deregulation," "Understanding Antitrust and its Economic Implications," and "Monopsony: Economic Theory and Antitrust Policy," among others.

Dr. Harrison frequently serves as an economic expert in litigation matters relating to antitrust economics and has extensive experience in analyzing economic issues in matters involving possible class certification.
